The last week or so has really felt Spring-like and I'm
already pining for some warmth and lighter evenings, which has also got
me wishing for some new Spring additions for my wardrobe.
First
of all, this skirt. Midi skirts have well and truly made a come-back
and in this pretty pastel blue skirt it would be hard not to feel like
Sandy in Grease! The sheer overlay on top gives it a pretty
and flirty feel, compared to your usual midi, circle skirt. This would
be perfect for a little stroll along the sea-front or drinks in the
evening.
These cat-eye sunglasses are so
gorgeous. I actually have a picture of my Nan in the 50's wearing a very
similar pair! These would go nicely with the midi skirt, and they're
definitely top of my holiday wish-list.
You can
tell I'm loving pastels lately can't you? But who wouldn't love this
pale lilac satchel.. with the gold detailing and scalloped trim, giving a
feminine twist to a usual satchel, it's hard to resist! It's also the
perfect size bag; big enough to fit your necessities (plus five more
lipsticks...oops) but small enough to not feel bulky and weighed down.
Nars
blush, at £21.50 a go, I feel is a little pricey. But as a firm lover
of their ever-famous Orgasm blush, they are well and truly worth the
price (if you feel like treating yourself). This shade, Amour, is
described as a 'peachy pink' which, for me, is perfect for the spring.
Lastly,
these gold little cut-out studs are super cute and perfect for
day-to-day wear. I am useless at remembering to put earrings on, but
these are too sweet not to wear, so I might just treat myself to these.
